Eugenio Martinez , MD
Medical Director, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Dr. Eugenio Martinez received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine. He completed his internship at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Illinois and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago. He is currently a Clinical Instructor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical SChool and on staff at the New England Bone and Joint Institute Spine Center of the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Martinez is board certified by the American Board Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Electro-Diagnostic Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Americna Association of Electr-Diagnostic Medicine.

Dr. Martinez has received the Edmund James Scholar award 1978-1980 and Monsanto-Bechtel Engineering Award in 1980. He has multiple publications for his pioneering work in exercise and aggressive spine rehabilitation for those suffering with chronic back pain.

Dr. Martinez primary interest is in the evaluation and treatment of spinal disorders, complex upper extremity pain complaints, musculo-skeletal disorders, and electro-diagnostic medicine.
